Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi has claimed that President William Ruto's political future is bleak and that he is poised to face a political reckoning similar to that experienced by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
MP Amisi argued that President Ruto must confront the consequences of his inability to fulfill his pre-election promises.
"With Gachagua now out of office, Ruto is next in line since he has let down Kenyans and relies solely on Raila," he remarked.
He made these comments at Kiungani Primary School during the burial of Eliud Wakashaka Mwichabe, a member of the University Taskforce in Trans Nzoia.
DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa accused President Ruto of manipulating the judiciary to impose policies on Kenyans against their will. "Kenyans need to rise up and ensure that President Ruto's leadership ends in the next general elections, as he has failed the nation," Wamalwa stated.
Governor George Natembeya emphasized the need for a strong political voice from the western Kenya region ahead of the 2027 general elections. "Western Kenya has a significant voting population that should be leveraged as bargaining power in future pre-election agreements," Governor Natembeya noted.
