Saboti Constituency MP Caleb Amisi has officially launched a bursary application exercise aimed at supporting needy students from the region.
The launch took place at the Cattle Dip polling center in Matisi Ward, marking the beginning of a crucial initiative to assist students in their educational pursuits.
Amisi emphasized the importance of this initiative in his address to the community, highlighting the need for equal educational opportunities for all children, regardless of their financial situation.
"It is important to me to ensure that the process began without any hitches, reflecting my dedication to supporting the education of Saboti residents. I believe every child deserves the opportunity to pursue their education, and this bursary initiative is a step towards making that a reality for many," said Amisi.
The bursary distribution is part of a larger effort to alleviate the financial burdens faced by students in Saboti, ensuring that those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds have the opportunity to continue their education.
The MP explained that the bursary application forms would be available at local polling stations across the constituency, making it easier for parents and guardians to access the forms and apply.
This approach is intended to ensure that the process reaches every corner of the constituency, including more remote areas where access to services can be limited.
Amisi further reiterated his commitment to the well-being of Saboti residents, particularly in providing access to educational resources.
"I am committed to the well-being of Saboti residents. By prioritizing access to educational resources, I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of Saboti residents," he said.
With the bursary forms now being distributed, the MP expressed confidence that the initiative would bring substantial benefits to local students, helping to improve their access to education and create more opportunities for success.
"Rest assured, I will continue to work diligently to address the needs of our people and provide opportunities for growth and development," Amisi concluded.
