Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi has commissioned four new classrooms at the GK Remand Prison Primary School in Tuwan Ward, marking a significant milestone in efforts to improve education infrastructure in the constituency.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Amisi emphasized that quality learning spaces are vital for nurturing young minds and improving academic performance.
“Education remains the cornerstone of inclusive growth. By investing in school infrastructure, we are not only empowering learners but also strengthening the foundation for a better future,” Amisi stated.
The new classrooms are expected to ease congestion and create a more conducive environment for learners, including children of prison staff and members of the surrounding community.
The project is part of the MP's broader initiative to boost education standards and promote equitable development across Saboti Constituency.
“This is more than just a construction project; it reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to quality education,” Amisi added.
Area residents and education stakeholders lauded the project, noting that improved infrastructure will significantly enhance learning outcomes at the school.
The commissioning comes at a time when the government and education partners continue to emphasize the need for adequate learning facilities to meet the growing demand for education in the region.
