Saboti Member of Parliament, Caleb Amisi, has reaffirmed his dedication to accelerating development in his constituency, focusing on key areas such as education, infrastructure, electrification, and student support.
Speaking at the burial of the late Shadrach Sandwi in Kipsagam, Amisi emphasized the importance of upgrading public schools to enhance learning conditions and provide equal access to quality education for all students.
“The children of Kipsagam and surrounding areas deserve a conducive learning environment. Completing this school project is not just a priority, it is a promise,” Amisi stated.
The MP also announced plans to repair and upgrade roads within the constituency to bitumen standards.
He stressed that a robust road network is critical for the economic development of Saboti, as well as for improving access to essential services.
“Better roads mean easier access to schools, hospitals, markets, and other services. It’s about connecting people to opportunities,” he added.
Amisi further unveiled plans to launch a bursary program aimed at supporting more needy students in secondary schools, colleges, and universities.
The initiative is designed to alleviate the financial burden on families and improve educational outcomes within the constituency.
“We want no student to be left behind due to a lack of school fees. Every young person deserves a fair shot at a better future,” Amisi remarked.
Amisi revealed plans for a rural electrification program aimed at connecting residents in Saboti’s rural areas to the national grid.
He emphasized the role of energy access in fostering both social development and economic empowerment.
“Electricity opens doors to business, education, and security. We won’t rest until every home is connected,” Amisi assured the residents.
The MP's remarks underline his ongoing efforts to drive progress and create opportunities for the people of Saboti, with an emphasis on improving education, infrastructure, and access to essential services.
